Blue Tansy Oil: A beautiful blue oil distilled from the flowers, leaves, and stems of the blue tansy plant, an aromatic Mediterranean plant in the daisy family.  The flowers are actually yellow, not blue.  The blue color comes from the chamazulene content, which forms during the steam-distillation process. Chamazulene is known to be relaxing and soothing to the skin.

 

It has the ability to promote a clear complexion. One of the main components of Blue Tansy is called Sabinene.  This is the component which helps diminish the appearance of blemishes, fine lines, and wrinkles.

 

In addition to the above it has an amazing scent!

 

Jojoba Oil:  Not technically classified as an oil this beauty is what you call a wax ester.  It has a different make up to other oils which makes it so unique.  Wax esters are the main component in human sebum, which means that jojoba oil mimics our skins natural sebum, conditioning and sealing moisture in the skin without clogging pores or making breakouts worse.  It is considered the closest oil to your skins natural oil.  It has the ability to balance your skins oil production, creating a more even complexion.  It is lightweight and non-greasy.  Research has shown that an over-production of sebum in the skin can lead to breakouts.  This is where Jojoba comes in, balancing that over-production.  It also contains some anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties making it even more beneficial for those suffering from periodic breakouts.

 

Pumpkin Seed Oil:  Not only are the seeds good for you but the oil extracted from these seeds have some pretty powerful acne-fighting and oil regulating properties.  It contains a potent combination of zinc, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals that combat problematic skin.  This beautiful oil also has the ability to hydrate, renew and increase the firmness of the skin, fighting against acne causing bacteria and preventing scars.

 

Turmeric:  This beauty has been around for centuries and its benefits are renowned.  In Skin Care it has the ability to prevent skin cells from clumping together and clogging the pores.  Because it is considered to have antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties it can help to stop the growth of of acne-causing bacteria.

Apply after cleansing and toning. Put a couple of drops into the palm of your hand and gently pat all over the face or add to your favourite moisturiser.
